I told my little girl that we would make some pot calls after our family vacation in July. My 8 year old daughter just announced that she has decided her pot calls are going to be slate over a purpleheart sound board in a maple pot and the perfect striker will be cherry topped with a corn cob. I asked her how she knows and she said, " Dad, don't you believe me?" Her mom is making a stencil so she can put her name on it, she is excited. I asked her if she wants to share/sell her great new call. She said, " Maybe we can be rich and go pheasant hunting in SD, with a new dog" I asked her how much we should charge and she never missed a beat, " $350 should be enough," so I am taking pre-orders now. Nothing better than doing something productive with your kids. Sounds like you got a great one there. Mine are fast getting close to being old enough for their first time hunting turkeys
