Pretty quiet opening day as far as gobbling goes, but i had hens all over me. First one came charging in front of me. She was at about 15 yards. She left and two more started coming from behind me. The second one was standing about 10 feet away. You can hear her purring in the video. Glad I was covered head to toe in my mossy oak obsession.

I sat there yelpin and fussin with somes hens that were grouped up wid a Boss in a bottom for an hour. I was trying to pull them, and hoping the Boss would follow. They were not budging, all I got was 2 courtesy gobbles.
All of a sudden the "over-calling" got a couple of good 2-3 yr olds hot on da trail!! They were so loud the pine bark was raining off the trees.
11:30 am and BOOM!
A very good opener.
