The horriffic shooting that took place in Charleston SC ended with an arrest in Shelby N.C. which is in my patrol area, and only 10 minutes from my home. I want to thank my fellow Law Enforcement officers for the Brave work that takes place everyday. This is such a horrible crime and my familys prayers go out to the familys involved. :cross2: :bible:
I agree Tim. Thanks to all Law Enforcement officers and prayers sent to the affected families.
Prayers for the victims, their families and the first responders. That has to be one horrible crime scene to work.
I'm glad they got the guy fast and without further loss of life. That was a terrible crime.
It is very sad. Makes me sick that we have people in this world like this!

Very sad story out of SC. Prayers for the victims families are pouring toward God from all across the country.
One well informed citizen is all it took to get him. Someone in a store in Kings Mtn recognized him and called Police at 10:32 am. They had him by 10:44 am.
Good job by the caller and all officers involved.
Being a Conservative doesn't make me a Republican...
Very sad indeed. There is a public outpouring of sympathy here for those who lost their lives and their families. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them as well.
I am also thankful for the quick action by the public and our dedicated law enforcement officers. That action reflects what happens when good folks work together. It's what happens most of the time but largely goes unreported unless it's a big story.
Unfortunately, this terrible incident will also be used to further the cause of gun control. We've already seen that occur and I'm sure will see more of it.
In addition to praying for the friends and families of those who were tragically killed, let us pray that reason will prevail in our society and that some politicians will not use this terrible incident to further their own goals and agendas.
Thanks,
Clark
There have some strong reactions to this mass murder. None better than the son of the woman reverend who was killed.
Backed by his coaches and baseball team, he gave a poised, classy statement. That kid had some good raising to be able to do that. I wish I had a link to post.
