Title: Turkey gifts for Father's Day?
Post by: Tail Feathers on June 11, 2015, 08:01:26 PM
I did my wife pretty good for Mother's Day and she asked what I wanted for Father's Day.
I sent her a link to a Tactical Tater kickstand vest.  I hope she gets the hint. :TooFunny:

Any other Dads here hoping for a turkey hunting item for Father's Day?

My wife got me a range bag that holds 2 water bottles on each end. I wanted this to make into a bag to carry all turkey hunting gear..it work out great. The ends that hold the water bottles will hold box calls great .. if you wanted to carry four box calls you can with this bag.. it has all kinds of pockets to hold your slate calls etc....inside the main part of the bag is a divider that has a pocket to store a small hand gun... if you don't want a vest or backpack. You need to check this out on ebay...just look up range bag...u will see it displayed with water bottles in each end...

She's getting me a new custom box call. Also a buck model 422 knife as long as I can manage to find one in time. They're getting harder to find at reasonable prices every day.

For Father's Day I booked myself a gould's hunt but I haven't told the wife yet. I'll tell her next April or May before I leave.

Slayerrd - always easier to get forgiveness than it is permission, lol.

It's easier to just do the shopping yourself. That way you always get what you want

Agreed.  At Christmas, I'll give my wife a bunch of stuff and tell her; here, these are from the kids for me.  Kids don't have to shop and I get what I want.  Win win!

I got my Father's Day present last Saturday. It was a new lawn mower....NOT at all what I wanted. It was either that or cut the grass with the weed trimmer.
