What would cause turkeys not to be where they have been every year before?
I know there are a lot of possible reasons. I hunt public land in Fla. It is hot here already and we have not had has much rain as years past.
The areas we hunt, we have heard multiple gobblers in the past. After 3 days this year we are not hearing any gobbles, not seeing any birds on the roads. We have had a few hens and several encounters with Jakes.

I don't what happened to the turkeys.
It may be water. Go to the water and you may find birds.
