Title: Decoy repaint
Post by: eddie234 on June 02, 2015, 09:50:29 AM
I decided to touch up my vintage foam decoys. I've had these things for probably 15 years. I think they are probably the original love triangle.

They look new, so the paint job was successful. Is there a special paint that you use that keeps it from flaking when the decoys are bent? In a previous post, one of our fellow turkey hunters used one of the upright hens on the ground in a breeding position and positioned the jake immediately over her in hopes of irritating a gobbler enough to come on in, which he said worked.

No special paint, just cheap spray paint. I sprayed it on plastic then brushed it on. I figure if it flakes off ill just touch it up.
