I have finally reached the end of the transformation of my 1300 Black Shadow (fiberglass stock/forend) to an old school wood stock/forend. My attempt at matching a ribbed forend to a stock from 2 different suppliers didn't end well. I finally found a used matched set that was the perfect stain color and condition I was searching for. The old parts are on eBay.
Very nice

Those are awesome guns! That will be my next 1300 as well.
To the OP - great looking gun!
Very nice shotgun, I had the same wood on my 120 ranger, but I swapped it out for a set off a 1200 from the 70's that's walnut with a nice figure.
Very nice, thats what a shotgun is supposed to look like.
NOW it goes with all those fine calls you make :icon_thumright:
I can't make out the label, but what kind of liqueur you sippin' on?

That's a bottle of Old Overholt rye whiskey. It's an old brand my father used to keep in the house when his whiskey drinking friends stopped by. I buy it in memory of him but must admit it goes pretty good straight up or mixed with a bit of Canada Dry ginger ale. :icon_thumright:
