My 3 sons just finished up school for the year. I made a trip to KS in early April with a couple buddies who had never shot a turkey, so the main goal of the trip was to get them their first birds. We were successful in accomplishing that goal, but I didn't have a chance to fill my tags. Every time I open my wallet, those tags are staring at me-kinda got me to thinking, I could maybe take the boys out with me, do some camping/fishing/turkey hunting. I have never hunted this late in the year and was wondering if the toms will still be gobbling so I could locate one on the public land-if its over, we can camp and fish here. Thanks for any info.

You aint kidding. Raining hard just south of us. 5 more feet to top the gates. Expecting 3-5 more inches by the weekend.
Saw 4 birds strutting tonight so they are still interested. Lots of hens will be trying to renest.
