What are the best strikers for copper calls ?

I used  Macassar Ebony this year.  African Blackwood also works well.

I've found 5/16 acrylic works best out of all the ones I've tried, and on aluminum too.

I like my fiber rod strikers on copper and any realy hard wood,, diamond wood

I like Yinglings fiber rod but bloodwood works real nice too. The more I mess with copper the better it sounds.

I agree.  I'm liking copper calls better all the time.

I have been a fan of copper pot calls for a few years. I run mine with a fiber rod striker or one of my hand whittled cherry strikers. If you like copper, give a brass pot call a try. Gobblers responded well to mine this spring. I was running it with an Ipe Fred Cox striker.
