I finally got a chance to break in the my 20ga that I bought last year. Hw7s and a Sumtoy 562-5 choke did the job at a good 40 yards down the hollow. I had been working him for an hour, he was about 200 yards out the ridge from me when I first setup on him about 7:30. He would gobble but wouldn't come in, then went quiet about 8:30. I thought he had moved off around the end of the ridge and my legs were asleep so I started to move when I caught a glimpse of him coming in silent. I purred at him one more time and got him to move into a opening down in a little swag below us. He looked around but didn't see the hen and started to move off so I let the 20 go. I couldn't be more please with that gun and the patterns the sumtoy is throwing.

Awesome bird!
Great job! What make 20 gauge do you have? I'm thinking about putting together a 20 gauge turkey gun myself.

That bird is a PIG! Nice! Damn fine hooks.... :you_rock:
What is your 20 ga set up? Well...gun and sight? I see your load and choke choice. I just ordered a 20 ga Weatherby Turkey gun....the auto.
Thanks for the comments guys. The gun is an 870 with a 26" barrel. I had it drilled and tapped and am using a FastFire III sight. Here is a link to the patterns it is throwing:
