I am double checking the screw size for a FastFire 3. Is the correct size 8-40?

I just got finished drilling and tapping my Nova for the 336 base. The screws that mount the FF3 to the base are 6-48 and the base is mounted to my receiver using 8-40 screws. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken.

Thanks for the information. I should have been more specific in my question.

The base to receiver screws are the ones I want to confirm. I am using a 336 base.

It all depends on what your receiver is drilled and tapped. I knew mine was 8-40 because I did it myself.
