Title: Wyoming Success
Post by: WyoHunter on May 01, 2015, 11:17:34 PM
Her's pics of my two WY gobblers. One had an 8" beard and the other 7 1/2". I forgot my camera for the first bird as evidenced by the "dead turkey in the garage" pic. The other was taken where I shot him. For once the weather was nice and I didn't have to fight snow or mud. Both birds were healthy two year olds and had hens with them but came to the call anyways.

Congrats on two nice birds!  I hunted the Black Hills of Wyoming and South Dakota for more than 20 years and loved hunting those Merriams.  That part of the country is beautiful and the birds are plentiful.
