I'm not hearing near the gobbling I usually do. I've killed 3 and called in 2 more that got shot and not a single one has been an "am" bird. Every one has been killed between 12:20 and 2:00. I always kill a couple early morning birds. It just ain't happening this year. First bird I killed gobbled twice, second one gobbled twice, 3rd didn't gobble at all.
Well after I typed this out i happen to remember. Earlier in the week i worked a bird off the roost that gobbled good. My wife missed him before 7 am. Forgot all about him.
:icon_thumright: Congrats....
Same here for me in ky, my first bird gobbled on the roost once and the second I killed was at 1:00pm he didn't gobbled at all.
sometimes it happens that way, congrats on a great season
Congrats!!!
Better than mine
Been an odd season for a lot of people, especially down in Dixie. At least you are scoring on birds. Congrats! :icon_thumright:
