Gobble, those loads were Hevi-13 3" 2oz #7
That's a great even turkey killing pattern and will probably be about as good w/EM 6's. I've got a Model 37 Ithaca, 12 gauge barrel which Mark cut down to 25", sleeved w/ a .665 choke, lengthened the forcing cone, and polished in 1985. That gun w/ Activ #5's was a turkey killing machine and patterns the "old" Remington Hevi-shot 5's and 6's as well as the "new" EM loads extremely well. I'm curious, I had heard that Bansner wasn't working on shotguns anymore, when was your barrel work done?

decoykrvr. I had the barrel work done by Mark around the same time as you maybe a little later 85 - 86?. I shot the old Federal 3" 2oz #6 for years probably killed 70 or 80 birds with them. I them switched to a factory Rem barrel and a .665 comp n choke with Winchesters supreme and them Extended range #6. till last year when I tried some Hevi-13 #7.
nothing wrong with that pattern
