Title: red dot and mount-posted in wrong forum
Post by: woodsrunner on April 22, 2015, 09:00:02 AM
I posted this the other day in the wrong place. My apologies
My granddaughter has decided to turkey hunt. I have a 20ga. NEF for her to use, but I want to try a better sighting set-up for her. I want to try a red dot.
Need advise on inexpensive(cheap) clamp on barrel mount and red dot, to see how they might work.
I have zero experience with either, so any help is welcome
Thank you.

I've never seen a mount that clamps on unless you have a vent rib.If its a single shot 20 you might want to shoot it a couple times yourself before letting your granddaughter shoot it. You will be surprised by the amount of recoil. They hit harder than some 12 gauge guns.
