Title: truglo ssx .643 ok for 3 1/2" shells...?

Anyone know if a invector plus  truglo ssx .643 is to tight to shoot out of a browning maxus with 3 1/2" shells

U can try it but I bet your best patterns will come from .665 to .675. My gold likes a .670 rhino.

Absolutely. It will pattern best with #6 or #7 shot.

I wouldnt risk my $500 dollar barrel on a chinese made choke. Scroll down and look @ the post titled "ssx disaster". Beleive me its no isolated incident. That was a browning maxus and sounds like it ruined his barrel.There's way too many good chokes on the market made by hard working americans.Hard to beat a sumtoy IMO.

I have a rem 870 super mag that i tried a Carlson .640 in and it was to tight.  Even with #6 shot it was blowing holes in the pattern you could put both fist in!  I now use a .665 IC and its perfect!
