Looking good. How many hours do you have in doing that?

I don't remember exactly but I think it is around 25. Cut and glued each feather.
Ya better work on the deer next!
He is getting a head turn and hair
That's the best looking home job feather detail I've ever seen. No doubt that it works too when the sun or wind hits those feathers.
Big thumbs up
Wow, that gobbler looks great! Great job!
:icon_thumright:Wow they look ready
Looking good! Good luck!!

Look good...but how do plan on transporting this in field ? Are you going to carry it in a bag with those feathers glued on or what....most of the time in early April you have to deal with lot of rain and mud...its just hard to keep something like this nice. I just see a problem with carrying this and weather conditions
The only feathers that can get messed up are the tail feathers. The rest are glued solid. And yes I use a decoy bag. I used and carried a mounted strutter for several years. This decoy is way more water "proof" than that mount.
Sounds good... were I hunt I'm not crazy about a strutter decoy. Ive had gobblers hangs up out of range especially 2 year birds... 3 year old or better gobblers .....strutter may work. Do you have a lot of luck with a strutter?
Killed birds with spurs from. 3/4 to 1 3/8 with the strutter. Never have I had a bird hang up on one. Most of those birds are public land birds too. But I also don't use it every time I set up either. It is just another tool that I make sure I have with me.
Dang, that looks good! Make sure you "shoot 'em in the face" before he floggs the decoy and messes up your handi-work! :icon_thumright:
That hen looks good. Good job.
