Title: Behind the 8
Post by: TrackeySauresRex on April 16, 2015, 10:23:47 PM
:character0029:   I've been dragging my feet all the way. My permit app went in the very last day. Luckily I remembered. I just took my vest down from the attic, cleaned it out,old water, peanut lbutter crackers, half eaten power bar.The season opens Monday. NY,PA, follow up in May. Usually there's a reed in my mouth in March, preparing for the season. I finally gave the calls a spin.  This is the first time where I haven't been ready in forever. Having the worst cold/bronchitis ain't helping! Hopefully that first gobble will put some fire in my belly.
I caught an episode of Turkey thugs today. Hopefully I'm cured.
Sorry for the rant.
Hunt safe all, and good luck this season.
B-Well

Yes,years ago I found a fork horn shed. I drilled a hole in it and weaved some parachute chord through it. Also,I put a dremmel tool to it. One side is a gobblers head. The other side is a turkey feather. Saved the antler tip as well, for the choke point to Cinch  the Spurs down. It's a great tote. Here's a better look.
