Title: Merriam turkey Guide Recommendation?
Post by: FL-Boss on April 16, 2015, 10:57:24 AM
Looking to do a Merriam turkey hunt next year - far west ( new mexico) or north big sky country.  Can anyone recommend an outfitter -  semi guided or fully guided hunt.  I'm looking for a real professional operation...

I'm new to this site and just started poking around...This is my first post..I have done a fair amount of travelling to chase turkeys.
2 grand slams and a world slam
I got my first Merriam's with a great outfitter in Nebraska, His name is Clay Beck his family runs an operation called White Oak Outfitters in Mills Nebraska.
A few years later I took the wife to Wyoming for her first Merriam's (she got a nice one too!)
I hunted near Devil's tower with a place called Trophy ridge Outfiiters
Both places had great people and great food plus LOTS of turkeys..they both book up fast and early..they have  websites...give em a call.
good luck
