A pair of bacon wrapped gobbler breasts and 2 racks of country style ribs ready for the smoker. The "after" picture to follow about supper time.

Always wanted to try smoke curing a bird. What type of smoker do you use and how long is the prep and cook time?

I use a Brinkman propane smoker. Season, wrap with bacon and about 3 hrs. once smoker reaches 200-225 degrees.

I am sitting here at 4:50 am on KS opener looking at those bacon wrapped turkey breasts...man that's a motivator!
