Have saw some taxidermy pics pretty close to that on the net but never in real life, alive or mounted, pretty cool.

There is a white gobbler in the city limits about an hour from the house.  He is with 4 other regular gobblers and stands out like a sore thumb.

My first turkey I ever shot was a smoke phase Osceola with an 8" beard.

I've seen one smokey hen, would love to find a gobbler like that.

Here is the one I shot 6 years ago.  John Beard from TN  mounted the bird for me and actually took second in the masters division at the NWTF taxidermy competition that year.  It was the first turkey I had ever shot.  I actually thought I had shot a domestic turkey at first. Little did I know it would be a once in a lifetime bird!

Now that's what a turkey mount should look like!

My huntin buddies son got a molded wing Tom years ago. Next time I'm at his house I'll take a pic and post it. It looks like a normal Tom but the wings are smokey white.

Thanks for all the comments!  Ya the taxidermy work is incredible. If I ever get another bird done there is no doubt I will have him do it. I don't think I knew what good taxidermy was until I got that bird mounted.  I have a handful of ducks, 3 deer and 2 hogs done as well and each one of them I can find things I don't like. The turkey I can't find a single thing...I have seen a pile of bad turkey mounts.  There have been a few on here recently but I keep my comments to myself unless someone asks.
