1st bird of the NC season. Feeling pretty thankful!!! Let the 835 rip with a SumToy .675 & some 3.5" LB #4's. This is the first bird I've ever shot with 4's and I don't plan on it being the last!!! Shot this old boy at around 30 yards through some small thorns and he went down like a sack of potatoes!

Things were quiet near us. One guy saw 2 strutters behind 19 hens, but they never got near us. Heard 'em, never saw 'em. That's seriously flocked up!
