Title: Hevi 13 3.5/2.25/7's
Post by: Longshanks on April 10, 2015, 04:09:09 PM
Anyone bought this years? How do they compare to those in the past?  I was going to buy a couple of boxes but if they are sub par I will buy some next year. Thanks

I haven't bought any lately.  I still have about 5 or 6 boxes of the old 300325 and 300525 7's and after that I'll switch to the LB XR 5's and 6's.  I think I've got 3 or 4 boxes of each on hand.  Even with the rebates on the Hevi's, the Longbeards are a bargain.

The price on the longbeards is hard to beat for sure. Awesome 40yd patterns with the LB's but the inside 30yd pattern is a little too tight for me. Soft ball size patterns make it too easy to miss. I like the Hevi 13 7's because I can shoot 330's @ 40 and still have a good 12" pattern at 25-30 yds.
