I have a lights out dymondwood that makes my hot hen and crystal mistress sing. Purpleheart does well on both surfaces also.

I run Fowler Dymondwood on both Sneed calls.  Really makes outlaw hen green glass talk.

The strikers that came with my CM were adequate but a dymondwood and Dad's purpleheart played the best on mine. Have a outlaw hen on the way as well.

Dymondwood sounds good and the woodhaven strike 3 is a smoker along with a Lonzo

Sneed's purpleheart strikers are pretty darn good...

As a switch, I like Fred Cox's Tulipwood for both Sneed's (especially the Outlaw Hen), or an add-on of Fred's Canarywood and / or Persimmon for the Hot Hen...
