Title: Proud as a Pelican! My 8 Yr old bagged a heck of gobbler during NC Youth Hunt

She got it done!   19 lbs, 9" Beard and 1.25" spurs that were just massive.  Call used:  JL Curly over Purpleheart Box - -  soft calling for a sneaky swamp bird.

Snuck in early and set up 100 yards from his roost.  He gobbled several times to some of our light tree yelps.  At daylight he flew into our laps and came in full strut until he saw the jake decoy when picked up the pace!!   At ten she let him have it!  Praise the Lord!  Happy Easter ya'll
