Title: Speedbead question on rem 870
Post by: cluck on April 01, 2015, 05:09:48 PM
What do you do with spacer that goes between receiver and stock? I don't think that the stock will fit tight against the receiver if left in. I left it out. I don't have any gaps with the speedbead installed. My question is did I  install the speedbead correctly by leaving this spacer out? Don't want to pull the trigger until I know I did it right. The spacer is about 1/8 inch thick and fits around the nut that the stock bolt attaches to. Many thanks for any information on this.     Clu :turkey2:ck

I also left mine out....don't know if I was supposed to. but I shot it without it. haven't fully sighted mine in yet. I cannot get enough elevation out the red dot even with both rubber shims installed

I left it out also as the mount itself acted as the spacer I felt. Has been shooting great with zero issues.
