Title: Spent some time in Bass Pro Little Rock
Post by: HogBiologist on March 31, 2015, 08:10:00 PM
I was able to visit the Bass Pro in Little Rock today. They had a decent selection of turkey ammo. I picked up a box of 3.5" 2 oz #6 Long Beard XR. They had the 2 1/8 oz in #5 but not #6. They also had a good selection of Federal Heavy Weight in 20, 12, & 10 gauge. Shot size #6&7. I was surprised at the selection considering next weekend is youth season.

Looking at the long beard shells, it looks like the shells are rolled with a shot card on top. The "crimp" looks to be just a flat card with an imprint on it. Can't wait to test them out soon.

I shoot 3 1/2 LB xr's out of a RR .655 and I've never seen a better hunting pattern at 50 yards. You won't be disappointed  :icon_thumright:

My wife stopped by there a few weeks back and pick me up a few boxes of HW 7's. I go over there at least once a month!
