Post by: Dtrkyman on March 31, 2015, 04:08:54 PM
Recommendations for a good wingbone call, have always wanted to try one and may make one someday, but who makes a good one?

2nd the Mark Sharpe recommendation.   They have the looks and sound.  Here's what mine looks like.

That's not what it looks like now! That call definitely has some signs of wear now. That's what it looked like a couple years back!!
Thanks guys!

I have build many wingbones over the years but after i got one from Mark. I sent all of my wingbone building materials to him. I am more than happy to own and hunt with a Sharp wingbone.

Greg Whitaker makes an awesome wingbone call. He's on the wingbone and trumpet section here.  :icon_thumright:

Dr. Lovett Williams (Wild Life Biologist and Turkey Hunter) has a section on this board.  He is deceased now (2012), but his daughter still sells his books and calls.  He favored the wingbone call, made hundereds of them, and his daughter sells them.
