This gobbler woke me up this morning! So I fell asleep on the couch last night and woke up to gobbling. Never happened before and probably will never happen again. Tried to take a pic with my phone but didn't turn out great. He gobbled for 30 minutes with no luck bringing in a hen. Tomorrow can't get here fast enough. On a side note, anybody with knowledge of ponds have an idea how to get this grass gone out of my pond? Thanks!

cool photo...
They sell a chemical for that pond, it is pricey but effective.
Go to farm store like Rural King or something and buy copper sulfate, put the copper sulfate in a burlap sack and tie a rope to the top, get in small boat , or canoe and drag that burlap sack full of copper sulfate around pound until everything in the bag dissolves..I'd use about 20 pounds of Copper Sulfate.
Good luck!!
Thanks for the replies. Haven't heard of the copper sulfate thing.
There is so stuff called Sonar that works good. I know some people that will actually use round up but only spray it on small sections of the pond at a time. They claim it works but I would be afraid that it would make the fish sick.
