Title: Double barrel shotguns/single extended tubes?
Post by: owlhoot on March 29, 2015, 09:31:08 AM
has anyone ever had any problems shooting one barrel extended choke and one standard?

Will the blast that close to the extended tube cause any possible problems, thanks .

Yes, I've shot a combination like that and there have been no problems.

Thanks,
Clark

Should not be any issues. You could also run a pair of extended tubes if you desire.

When you stop to think about it, an over/under would be a great setup. One barrel has a factory full choke and a load of lead 6's or even 7.5's and the other an aftermarket choke with a load of hevi shot or heavyweight.  One click of the barrel selector and your ready for either the bird that steps into your lap or the stubborn one that hangs up at 40.
