Title: Franchi intensity scope mount?
Post by: daymude7288 on March 27, 2015, 05:07:09 PM
Anyone know a way to mount a scope without getting it drilled?  Is there a saddle mount or something?

There are 4 dovetails on the receiver.  Can't they be used?  I was assuming that was what they were for.

Getting it drilled is a stronger, more structurally sound way to mount it. Saddle mounts can compress the receiver and impede the action plus they scratch it when putting it on and off.

Do a Google search on it.  That is what the dovetails on the receiver are for.

I understand it has the dovetails on the reciever but I still dont see any mounts offered.  I know some of the berettas have the same setup and the offer mounts for them but not Franchi.

Franchi makes a scope mount-Model #90141- for the Intensity that evidently fits the dovetail grooves on the top of the receiver.
