Title: Questions on hunting Florida
Post by: bradbathome on March 27, 2015, 10:20:35 AM
Is the 10day license and turkey tag and WMA license all I need to hunt.

Is the tag good for 1 or 2 turkeys.

I also read that they changed the daily bag limit to 2 is the private land or public or both.

Thanks

I just finished a quota hunt yesterday and yes that's all you need for a license. The wording in the brochure for my area said "two bird limit per permit, one per person" so I expected one for me and one for a guest. I killed one on day two though and the man at the check station said I could come back the next day and kill another. I called the FWC licensing division and they confirmed that was true. Not sure if that's all WMA'S or if it varies.

Some WMA's are one bird, some are two. You have to check the individual rules for the WMA you are hunting. The season limit is still 2 birds, but some WMA's only allow one.
2 birds a day on private land only.
Good luck guys!
