Does the material the striker is made of make a difference in the sound the call makes? New to this type of call and don't want to purchase several if they are all the same sound.
If the call is made right, each different wood will produce it's own sound and tone on the call.
I purchased a call with a plastic pot. I am guessing a wood one may have been a better choice. Guess I will pick up a wood one to see the difference.
The type of wood makes all the difference...in the pot and the strikers.
You can get one custom pot with a few strikers and make all the sounds you'll ever need.
