Title: Thunder chicken decoy
Post by: jlewis4390 on March 25, 2015, 09:19:34 PM
I currently have a pretty boy and pretty girl decoy which is a breeder hen and a strutting Tom. ... they are petty big and pain in but to transport when in wood and chasing a gobbler ....I am thinking of getting something smaller. ..what would u recommend ? budget is small or else it would be avian. ...thinking thunder chicken or funky chicken ...maybe a killer b ? What are thoughts need all input it's only my second year so not lots of experience
I know a lot of people like a Jake and a hen instead of a strutter

I have a thunder chicken with a real fan on it.  I have it with me every time I hunt.  But I use some unconventional methods with stubborn birds...

I'm from Ky and I purchased the Funky Chicken because I heard a lot of positive comments about it, but it actually ran one of my turkey's off. I would say it was because they hadn't ever seen one like that, but the Primos Gobbstopper seems good for the price.  :funnyturkey:
