Title: Piebald? Central Ohio
Post by: Gobblers_nightmare on March 25, 2015, 08:39:22 PM
This was seen today, in Central Ohio.  Never seen one myself, but this is a nice looking bird.  Looks to have a 7" or so beard.

Hard to tell but looks like a Bourbon Red (domestic) that got loose.

Don't know, but I'm sure it was exciting to see.

He should gobble a lot and weigh 35lbs then ;D

This does not look like a bourbon red but could be a crossbreed bourbon/ eastern. Or it may well be an all wild eastern with odd colors.

Beautiful bird! I could only dream of a wild gobbler like that coming into my call. Imagine the surprise if you didn't know about him and then he just came strutting in with those colors.
