Anybody know a good app to use to mark locations on a map for turkey hunting?
I use the Turkey Hunt app by Hunt Stand. It works pretty good.

I don't even use a gps anymore. You can choose maps as you feel fit. Google earth, apple maps, terrain, roads, hybrids, etc.

There is no better. Put all others in a distant second to this as far as ease of use, speed, clarity, and accuracy goes.

With the app i mentioned, there is no cell service required if your phone has built in gps (most smart phones do now). I know with iPhone, it is a $10 app and all topo maps are free to download. It is worth it's weight in gold.
Oh wow. I will check that out ASAP. Wish I had known about that before I bought my expensive GPS with satellite image.
