Hey guys, I got a Remington 870SP Turkey Super-Mag 12ga. Its got the factory THUMB-HOLE( NOT SHUR-SHOT) buttstock/forearm on it now.
I want to put a Shur-shot stock on it so my question is "Will the Shur-shot fit the super-mag or is there a difference between the 870 express and super-mag other than shell chamber size?"
Thanks!
My brother had the 870SM with the thumb hole stock and just switched it out with a shur-shot. You should be good to go.
Yepper, do it!
Yeah no problem it will fit.
It'll work just fine. I put one on my SM last year.
Ok, were good on the buttstock but what about the forearm?
I have a Super Mag and wanted a more compact stock. I didn't go with the Sure-Shot, but used the Blackhawk adjustable. I had no trouble replacing the buttstock, but I did have to do some fitting on the forend stock so it would cycle all the way rearward to load a round from the mag tube.
