I have 3 turkey guns and one needs to be put up for sale to pay for some other hunting toys. I have 2 BPS NWTF guns that are matching. One will stay with me. It shoots 260-270 with Hevi #7 at 40 yards and is ready to hunt. The other BPS has never been shot and was my father-in-laws back up gun that I got after he passed away. The 3rd gun is a 3.5" 870 with a Mueller red dot, weaver base, Knox recoil reducing stock and a SumToy choke. This gun will shoot 250-260 with Hevi #7 at 40.
My question is, keep the 870 and sell the mint BPS or sell the 870 and put a red dot on the BPS and have matching guns? One gun will have a red dot and the other will have open sights.
Lastly, what do you think these guns are worth?

The 870 that I would sell is on the left.

This is what the BPS looks like.
I might check with the wife first...
I love sentimental guns but if I had a gun from my father in law it would probably be the first to go!!! :toothy12:
The wife does not care.
The BPS that I am keeping was his also. He was a good guy and we were buds. I hope to kill something with it for him this spring.
I'd sell the 870, unless you need the extra money the Browning would bring.
With the 870 would I be better off selling it as one unit or selling things separate?
Well I posted the 870 for sale. I guess I will see if anyone offers me what I am asking. I figured I have $950 into it with all of my add on features and modifications. I posted it for $850.
