Title: Sbe 2 barrels

Has anyone ever cut a sbe 2 barrel down to say 20 or 21 in. How do u think they would shoot.

The SBE2's seem to pattern better with longer barrels. the short barrels seem to be finicky with the smaller bore of the Benelli

Give Rob Robert's at gobbler guns a call he would have more info. on that for you he specializes in Benelli modifications and I think He will shorten the barrel and re thread it.

From what i have seen and heard, it can be done but its not advised to do on them.

I would never cut a Benelli barrel.  They look weird once cut because of the rib and you have to use special chokes.

Last year I bought a 24" barrel from Midwest I think it was and with a Roberts .660 and HW 7s I get 200 ish in the ten ring. Kept the 28 " for duck hunting.
