Title: Mississippi hunters
Post by: Gobbler2577 on March 13, 2015, 05:20:17 PM
Guys I wish you well as our season starts, but I want to remind us all that there are a lot more important things than killing a turkey.  Don't take chances that could ruin your life or someone else's.  Generally speaking, be safe and think before you act.  Also, be kind and considerate.  I hunt public land a lot and I'm always amazed at the behavior of some.  If a guy is parked where you wanted to go, let him be.  Take that opportunity to hunt somewhere else.  Maybe you'll find a new honey hole and chances are (especially on MS public land) that fellow won't kill the bird you wanted to hunt.  Enjoy what God created and be sure thank Him for it.  I hope you all have a great season.

Glad you posted this. Can't be reminded enough what is truly important.  Be safe, have fun, thank God, go home and hug the family.
