Called Lonnie Sneed tonight to order Hot Hen and Green Glass calls. What a pleasure it was to be able to listen to him talk and also hear him run a few of his calls. Wow can he run a call !! I have never spoken to him before but we talked for well over an hour. It didn't take long for me to figure out that he knows what turkeys want to hear and mimics his calls from his own experience in the woods. I was just so impressed listening to him tell stories and explain how he understands what birds usually like to hear. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with Lonnie regarding the time he spent talking to me about his experiences and also giving me advice on calling. He is truly a good man and the real deal on turkeys which most guys on this site already know.

How long will it take him to get you your calls?
Said a week or so - has about 30 to make but is keeping up. I called to order the Hot Hen and after he played the Green Glass I had to have that one also. If I can make em play 1/2 as good as he does I will be happy !
I ordered mine last the Tuesday before last and received it yesterday....so just over a week.
Looks like I need to call Dad and order a call so I can talk to him. lol I call him everyday to check on him and he almost hangs up on me. He tells me he is swamped making calls and does not have time to talk to me. He did tell me he was working about 16 hr. a day on calls. Glad you all like them. :OGturkeyhead: :OGturkeyhead:
I think he talked longer than expected once he started to tell me about the lady hunters that want him to call for them - I gave him my advice on all that ! We laughed and had a great conversation. I could talk to him all day long ! Lonnie Jr you are very lucky to have him as your dad !
I have one of his slates, need one of the green glass calls. they look and sound great.
