I shot my 870 28" rsf at a taped 40yd. and got 122 hits inside 10" circle.What kind of # anybody else is getting with the Hevi #6

12 GA ? I would think over 200 anyway. Do you have pictures of the pattern

It was a 870 express 20 gauge 28" with rsf choke

I shot it 3 times had 103 cleaned and 114 and 122 #6 with dirty barrel

I had One round left from a couple of years ago. I shot it today.  I got 92 @ 40 . That round preformed the same as the new 7's. As far as numbers go.
It was a little windy here today, I think I can do a little better. If my numbers are gonna be the same I might as well shoot the 6's.

About the results I get w/ an 870 20 ga youth w/ 21" barrel.

Your numbers are amost identical to what I get with my sons Mossberg Bantam and a undertaker choke.

My 870 Express with a 28" barrel didn't patern very well so I bought a 24"barrel and a 665 Jellyhead and some Hevi 6's. Waiting for good weather to try it out.
