Title: Indiana Turkey Hunting ??????????????
Post by: Turkeyfan on March 06, 2015, 06:43:40 PM
I was able to land some nice private land to hunting on this spring I French Lick IN. I was wondering if any of you have ever hunted around that area and if so what is the turkey population around that area. This will be my first time hunting Indiana and i hope to add one more state to my list were i have harvested a turkey.

Born and raised 10 miles from French Lick.  I'd call the area average; not the best in southern Indiana, but good amount of birds.  If you've got a sizable property lined up with woods/fields, you kill'em.  Also lots of national forest near French lick.  Pressure is about the same as any other public land.  Good luck!
