Title: Avian X decoy repair?
Post by: Bustabeak on March 01, 2015, 11:32:49 PM
Ok, so I've got a feeder hen and a jake from avian x. They both have acquired a hole. Im wondering if anyone has ever repaired these decoys and what you may use? The hole is on the leg of the hen and the top of the jake. I'm thinking maybe using some of the flex seal stuff. Anyone have any ideas other than that?

Clear silicone let it dry good before u blow it up, when u put it on wait a few minutes and scrap the excess off the outside and let it cure for a few days b fore u blow it up and it will be good

I would try a wader patch kit or maybe a bicycle tire patch kit over the hole, then shoe goo over that.  I've patched many a wader that were water tight afterwards doing this...I imagine it would work just as well on a deke...
