Picked up a SA-459 recently, shot the stock choke with decent results. Any suggestions on after market choke and diameters for LB 6s? I want a choke with good 40yd results but 40 will be the max it'll be shot. My wife is shooting is gun so I would like her to have some room for error at 15 to 20 yds.
Thanks
I shoot a SumToy .650 in my pa 459 with awesome results! If you want it more forgiving just give William a call at SumToy customs and he can help you out. I'd bet the .660 range would be pretty good.
Here are some patterns was my combo. I will have to get ahold of sum toy, those are some impressive patterns for sure. Thanks for the input
Not sure exactly which model you have but mine is the digital TR with the 18.5" barrel.....about 20" after the choke.
It's the turkey model 22" barrel

. Mine was super easy to dial in.... With a 22" barrel it should be a piece of cake!!! Please let me know how you get it shooting! I LOVE the Weatherby guns!!!
