Not in NY. It's about 7 outside with a wind chill well below zero. Those birds would die trying to dig down through our snow for food.

I have often wondered how turkey, deer, or anything can live where there are feet of snow and everything iced in?
They sit in the lower trees and nip buds, crab apples and what not or I have seen them in back yards at the bird feeders.
