Title: Public Land Osceola Harvest 3/21/11

My buddy smoked a gobbler on the same WMA on 3/19/11 @ 7:40am (opening day). So he gave me the green light to be the shooter and hopefully take the 2nd bird on his quota permit.

Burned this gobbler down this morning @ 7:30am. 16 lbs, 1 1/8 hooks and 8 3/4 beard. Did some light tree yelps on my trumpet and wing scratching. He flew down and locked on on the decoys. Game Over!!! Knew it was a long shot from the get go and I walked it off @ 59 yards. Off to GA this friday for the opening day on 3/26/11.
