Title: Light loads for a sbe2?
Post by: BlakeJ on February 14, 2015, 03:05:52 PM
Does anyone have any recommendations for a light turkey load for a sbe2? I have lots of different turkey chokes for it, so I can pattern it with different options. Just looking for a lighter load for the wife and maybe my dad. My 3.5" mag blends out of my turkey gun are a little too punishing for them.

Good Luck. The SBE kicks with anything over
1.25 oz loads. Borrow a Gas Operated gun.
Or use a 20 gauge.
I have a "Like New" tricked out SBE2 by
Gobbler Guns and it is now a "Safe Queen"!!!!
Kicks like a Mossberg. 835.
Do everyone a favor and get a 20 ga

That's a little bit of a stretch. But mine does
Kick purty good with a 2.25oz Load!!

I had an ol' Mossy 835 the first year they
Came out. Kicked so hard it shucked the breach
Open halfway with Turkey loads!!!
