Title: Final Pattern Results!
Post by: hunter177 on March 21, 2011, 05:17:35 PM
I know I've asked questions before about pattern but I never had anyone teach me about it. After my last thread, "Pattern vs. Velocity", I drew a 10" circle around the tightest part of the patterns, as some of you suggested, and this is what I got:

Federal Mag-Shok FC 3", 2 oz. #6 @ 1150 fps had 141 pellets in a 10" circle @ 40 yards w/ Primos Jelly Head .665

Winchester Supreme HV 3", 1 3/4 oz. #5 @ 1300 fps had 114 pellets in a 10" circle @ 40 yards w/ TruGlo Gobble Stopper Extreme .665

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your help and patience with all my questions!!!

Steve

thats a great pattern with the federals, 141 is more than enough to kill turkeys, congrats thats one of the few patterns i have seen with the fed flite control shells that were actually acceptable at 40yds
