Title: What Replaced the Nikon Turkey Pro
Post by: jason5.9 on February 10, 2015, 04:45:02 PM
Do you feel that the Nikon Turkey Pro and Nikon Monarch UCC (no longer in production) was replaced by the more reflexive style sights (FF2, FF3, TG Gobble Stopper, etc) or do you feel that the company is going to produce something new with magnification before the 2015 season?

I really want a Turkey Pro and I see them on Ebay, but I dont know if I want to pay the price they are asking for them.  I like the FF3, but would like it to have a reticle similar to the EOTech/TG Gobble Stopper (circle with dot)  as opposed to just a single 3 MOA dot, plus there seems to be alot of exposed glass there to get broken.

I wanted a circle with a dot style reticle as well. That is until I got one. I had to gobble stopper last season and the circle drowns out everything. Its to much in my opinion. I got the trs 25 this year and I like it alot better.

You can call Nikon and they will tell you. I called last year and I believe they stopped due to lack of sales. Leupold still makes one (turkey scope). FFIII and Vortexx reflex sights have a Lifetime warranty should you break the glass

Look on eBay for Simmons, Leupold, Swift, or and
Older Pentax Lightseeker shotgun scope.
Nikon is out of the game
